Dianne has studied dance from various dance schools in Latin America and the United States. As a musician, vocalist, and dancer, Dianne is able to teach dance from a cultural as well as a musical perspective. As the student listens and moves to the various dance rhythms, he or she also learns about the culture from where the dance originated, which is so important to its interpretation. Understanding the music’s rhythmic origins enables the student to “feel” the music, which is the basis of all couples dance.
